Please join us on Friday, October 11th, 2019 for our annual walk-a-thon!  We are excited about this fun, PTO-driven fundraiser!  The day starts with an all-school walk around Lakeville North High School track (next door) and then continues with each grade-level walking the track for ~30-40 minutes at designated times. This is a wonderful opportunity to support our school because it allows our students to make a visible contribution to their school, build community, have fun, and encourages healthy exercise!

Our goal this year is to raise $28,000 (~ $75 per student).  Your generous donations help support and supplement many programs at our school.  100% of the proceeds will be used to support Lake Marion Elementary directly (field trip transportation, school grants for special improvement projects, student scholarships,  5th Grade events and graduation ceremony, Fine Arts Assemblies, Scholastic Book Fairs, February “I Love to Read Month”, Bingo and Baskets, Activity Day, and more!).

Online donations (hint! you can share with grandmas, uncles/aunts, etc.) will begin next week!

To motivate the kids and generate excitement about this fundraiser, Principal Domstrand has agreed to dress up as a PENGUIN and eat slimy SARDINES (eeeek!) when we reach our fundraising goal!

Volunteers are needed (and appreciated!) for the walk-a-thon! Look for the sign up soon!

Walk-a-thon forms and information will be sent home on Sept 25-26.

Families are welcome and encouraged to join their students during their grade-level walk time.  Walk times will be published Sept 25-26:
